No 19) At David's sale I bought 3 of my old planes back, the first one I actually swapped for something else. This plane I made in 2001. It has an all steel body, dovetailed, very fine skew mouth and lovely coloured aged boxwood infill. The bottom of the bridge has a cupid bow which runs into the same detail on the bottom of the wedge. I think this is a very nice feature. It measures 6" long x 1 5/8" wide.

The heel is cut away and the boxwood protudes 3/4" backwards, it is marked B G D C 98 Havencrest Drive.

Today I sharpened the iron and couldn't beleive how well it worked.

No 18) This pair of identical miniature mitre planes I made for a very good friend of mine 14 years ago who is now selling off his collection. They were made out of tenon saw brass with dovetailed steel soles. The infill's are either ebony or very dark rosewood, this is the only pair of miniature mitre planes I have ever made as a set, all parts are numbered 1 & 2. 31/4" long x 7/8" wide.

On both sides of the planes it is marked Carter Leicester and 98 Havencrest Drive, 1994 around both heels.
