Making Tiny smoothers from spalted boxwood

This boxwood below was the piece I prepared for the handle of my Skelton rip saw. The dark piece in the middle is what I made these small spalt smoothers from.

This is the first smoother I made sitting on my Skelton saw, I can't believe it came out of the same piece of wood.

This is my second tiny smoother, it has a slightly longer iron.

Both planes together.

I have finished the 3rd spalt boxwood plane.
